What is PolyBuzz?

PolyBuzz is an AI character chat platform. You browse a directory of AI personas — characters with their own voices, backstories, and styles — and you have text conversations with them. You can also build your own characters and share them.

PolyBuzz has had two notable public events in recent memory. The first is app store removal: Apple has removed PolyBuzz at least once over content moderation concerns, and the developer has rolled out policy changes in response. The second is the introduction of an internal compliance policy that governs what its AI characters are allowed to do.
